• Great day with good attendance.
• Really felt the energy was good and God was speaking to people.
• A college student came up to me and told me when she was in middle school I preached at a camp and had those who wanted to follow Christ to stand up.  She just wanted to share with me that she was one of the students that stood up and will be working at that camp this summer.  WOW!  That was really encouraging!!!
• Had a guy who hitched hike all the way from Detroit to move to Morehead show up for the first time this morning and told me he was excited about being at church.
• We rolled out a new t-shirt for FTG’s!
• My mom was in the second service so I had to be on my best behavior.  Gotta make momma proud…LOL!
• Went to Cici’s Pizza after church and had a blast.  Johnnie Johnson spanked our tails at the basketball game in the back.  In fact, he broke the record by 16 points.  Still in shock about that one!
• Already pumped about One Prayer starting in June.  It’s going to be freakin awesome.  Also hoping that 100 GSP’ers show up again for the end of One Prayer.  That would be awesome!
• Really been praying through some major decisions and God has spoken to me through people who are much wiser than me.  Still have a couple of things that need clarity but trusting the Lord will show me soon.
• Talked with GaryLamb.org yesterday and they amost baptized the whole town today…God is really moving in Canton, GA.
• Pumped about our baptism service on June 7th, at the MSU pool.  If you want to be baptized, then email me at pastor@crosspointchurch.com.

I have almost completed my second book on my new Kindle that I got for my birthday (thanks mom).  I am utterly amazed how the Kindle is going to simplify my reading life.  You see, I am ADD when it comes to about everything, especially reading.  I can’t just read one book at a time.  I have to be going through two or three because I get bored quickly or uninterested in a particular chapter.  Then came the Kindle!  It has taken my reading to whole nutha level!  I can now have all my books with me on one device no matter where I go.  This also makes for much room in my backpack.

Another reason I am so pumped is because I just read a book that has helped me so much in my thinking and understanding on what we are shooting for here at Crosspoint Church.  In fact, I am going to get one for our entire leadership team and make them read it.  I have taken more notes from this book than any book I have ever read.  The crazy thing is I am reading it without reading another book on the side. Needless to say, it has captured my attention.  I will share my thoughts once I complete the book, which should be soon!

I had the privilege to go to Louisville, KY and speak at a church planting conference this week.  I led a couple of break out sessions for planters who were thinking about launching a church.  First of all, it seems like years ago we were preparing to launch Crosspoint and this conference took me back when it was just a handful of us believing that God was going to transform a city.  Second, it allowed me to think back of our failures and successes and what I would have done differently in the beginning.  I am not for sure how helpful it was for those who came to my session but for me it was great to reflect back on where we have come from and focus on where we are heading.  I know I say this a lot but I really believe we have not even begin to see what God is going to do right here in Morehead, KY.  All I can say is, get ready and keep believing Ephesians 3:20!!!

**On a side note, please pray for my wife.  She fell and hurt herself yesterday and could really use your prayers. She is ok but she’s in pain…Thanks!

Do you know how to pray? What really matters when you pray?  What do I say?  Why doesn’t God answer my prayers?  It seems like I am praying the same thing over and over.  Does this sound like you?  (It sounds like me!) Well, for the next few weeks we are going to be examining our prayer life and see how we can make it more effective.  It should be a great teaching time for all us to look at what the Bible has to say about prayer.   Hope to see you at Crosspoint this Sunday!

This series has been crazy!  I mean crazy schedules, crazy events, and crazy lives changed for the glory of God.  Sunday was the craziest.  We decided to give the offering back to everyone and asked them to go and bless someone this week.  We called it, “The Crazy Love Stimulus Package.”  I wish you could seen people from the stage.  Their mouths about hit the floor.  People were saying, “I have never heard of a church that gives money back to the people!” Hello, welcome to Crosspoint Church.  We hope that everyone will bless someone this week and then go to our website, www.crosspointchurch.com/crazylove and post your story.  I can’t wait to read every one of them.  It’s time to get crazy!
