Sunday Night Reflections

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Today was an awesome day.  God really moved in people lives. We started a brand new series talking about our identity.  “If I am so hooked up in Christ then why am I so messed up?” We hope to be able to have the audio up on our website this week.  I will keep you posted.

Run down of today.

  • Our attendance today was 144!
  • 19 FTG’s (First Time Guest)
  • 8 STG’s (Second Time Guest)
  • A lot of people signed up for small groups.
  • The start of a brand new series “Identity Theft”
  • One individual came up to me afterwards broken over their sin.
  • I went to a music recital at MSU tonight. Rodney you rocked!!!

This week I had the opportunity to go to Pigeon Forge, TN to be in my friend’s wedding.  We left Thursday morning and when we got to the hotel my car broke down.  It was terrible!  We were hoping to take the boys out and have fun and see Gatlinburg but we spent most of the time in the hotel.  I kept asking myself, “God what are you teaching me through this?”  I still do not have a clear answer however, I was able to share with the mechanic about our great God and how He changed my life.  Maybe God will use that in his life.  You never know why things happen.  I would encourage you all to continue to always be looking for the activity of God in your life and around you.  Remember, God never waste an experience in your life.
